In 2009 ( which was my sisters birth date ) went a aeroplane with MR Chelsy sullenberger, or " sully"
became a very VERY famous when he's aeroplane in the Hudson river in new york city.
He had to make an emergency landing when the two of his engine lost power but an miracle happend
ALL 155 people survived the landing
The landing is known as The Miracle on the Hudson
did you know that I saw someone getting bulled and so I went up to him and told them to leave him alone.

Tālofa Lava Ioteva,
ReplyDeleteKueni here from the Summer Learning Journey, I hope you’re having an awesome morning! :)
Congratulations on completing your second Bonus activity for the programme. I really enjoyed reading your blog post about the Miracle on the Hudson. I can see you really enjoyed the activity and went and did some more research about the story and have written some facts in your own words so ka pai for that! Thank you for also attaching the video from the activity page, it will encourage more students to go watch the video and learn more about what happened on the Hudson river.
At this point I will be awarding you with half points for this activity because the activity asks you to write about a time when you or someone you know did something brave just like Mr Chelsey Sullenberger did when he landed the plane. Feel free to update your post answering this question or edit your post to gain full points for the activity.
I look forward to reading more of your blog posts this summer Ioteva.
Blog ya later,
Kueni
I finished :) :P
ReplyDeleteKia ora Loteva,
ReplyDeleteThanks for editing your post, fantastic work! It can be really hard to be an active bystander (that is when someone steps into a harmful situation and does something to help, like what you did in this situation when you saw someone was being bullied) so it’s awesome that you decided to help. It sounds like you were super brave and that person was lucky to have you around in that moment! Just make sure that when you’re being an active bystander, that it is safe for you as well :)
Thanks for posting!
Eliza :)
